Hey there, Internet!
Monthly Post of Random Pictures / Thoughts & Questions / Links and other things that happened during the past month (or since writing last random post) and would not fit into another post…
Left: Been working on my chainmail dress again, currently trying to figure out what would be the easiest way to add a few cms because I am sure some of the weight will stay. Center: A friend took this picture of me and a Vulpix while we were preparing (aka having a frappuccino at Starbucks) for a day of Pokémon Go. Right: took this picture of one of the nicest things you can see in this town when my family was visiting me this month!
Maybe these thoughts / questions would be useful as inspiration or someone knows the answer? (If none of these, hopefully at least they would be entertaining.)
Seriously been wondering why today babies and kids wear clothing that are only miniatures of grown up fashion. When I was a kid I wore clothing that would be ok if it got dirty, things you could play and run in. Of course it does look cute but kids are kids and should be able to behave like that.
Found my addiction for Pinterest! Won’t be there daily but when I have a day off and am looking for some inspiration… @Justkeepbrains, currently there is a board for hair inspiration and one for home inspiration
So spam filters this month caught a lot of porn advertizing, I am used to strange search requests but the spam stuff so far was less adult focused. Guess this means it was a good idea to set the comments to be manually approved, even if the filters won’t find it, no ugly spam here!
Spent a lot of time in real life, playing Pokémon Go and was surprised how much hate I saw for this on Facebook – I think there were people who better should not be on the streets because they don’t know how to not get themselves and others in danger before the app has been released so why blame an app for people being stupid? At least it helps you discover places in your home area that you probably never saw before and you meet new people, spending time outside instead of staring at your TV.
Also spent some time creating a Sitemap for this blog where you will be able to find an overview on all topics that ever have been posted on this blog as well as my social media accounts and youtube, simply because the menue on the top looked too crowded with the categories which still were not satisfying for me.
Another attack. This time in Munich, at a place where two years ago I was very often to buy food or whatever was needed. A few of my friends were very close to the attacked area and it felt horrible to once again not know if everyone was safe, luckily all my friends were safe though. Maybe small cities (that I actually didn’t like thinking about living in before today) do indeed have some advantages?
And here are my most favourite / inspiring posts from other blogs / websites this month: (not a lot this time, was a pretty busy month…)
The Shopping Ban 2016 on Caliope Couture– A lot of bloggers that I follow seem to do this lately and I actually think I might join in a way or another and focus on DIY a lot more for a while.
My Summer as a Goth has some news! They just started a Kickstarter campaign to raise 50k $ as finishing fund! Whee!
Most played songs this month:
Kite – Dance Again
X-Divide – Sympathy (Namnambulu Remix)
Agonoize – Drowning In Isolation
Phillip Boa & The Voodoo Club – This is Michael
Eden weint im Grab – Friedhof der Sterne
What has been inspiring for you this July? Any plans for August? Have a nice evening!
