Eyes: Sleek i-Divine, Force of Nature

by Schnauzevoll

Hey there, Internet!

Another Impulse buy I guess! I got a newsletter from Shades of Pink, announcing a new Sleek iDivine Limited Palette and before thinking about it it was already in my shopping cart! Sleek is one of my favourite cruelty free and affordable brands that is quite known for its highly pigmented products, be it eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, blushes or anything else.

Description by Sleek: Create stunning eye makeup with 12 shades of highly-pigmented and long-lasting, mineral based eyeshadow. Force of Nature includes crisp shades of lilac and woody taupe that reflect a landscape of hope, fun, fantasy and all things natural. Includes matte dark colours, ideal for definition or perfecting a classic smokey effect. Suitable for all skin tones. Get creative and blend contrasting colours together for earthy, bold eyes.

Upper row: Sunrise, Cloudburst, Whirlwind, Dawn, Mist, Moonbeam
Bottom Row: Twilight, Lightning, Thunder, Borealis, Sandstorm, Sunset

The palette comes in a black plastic case (This time with ‘Force of Nature, Limited Edition’ printed on it) with mirror and sponge applicator included. Each color is 1.1g / 0.03oz of product for 10,49€ in total. The eyeshadows as always with Sleek feel soft on your skin, are highly pigmented (even more when you use a primer first though!) and might stay in place the entire day! The Force of Nature 427 palette actually is mainly matte colors, Sandstorm has a bit of shimmer to it. With the purples it has some tropical night mood and the browns are great for everyday looks. I know I won’t be using the purples a lot though and Sunrise seems to be the exact shade of my skin, since sadly Dawn arrived broken I might have to try if the tricks you can find to fix broken eyeshadows really work!

This might be the most natural looking, nude-ish smokey eye makeup that I’ve done in my entire life. (Especially difficult for a person who usually does over dramatic eyeliner, eyeshadow and fake eyelashes). Was done by applying Moonbeam right under the eyebrows, blended in with Sunrise, a bit of Sandstorm on the outer bottom corner of the eyes, entire eyelid done with Whirlwind, blended out for smokey look and a tiny bit of Twilight right above the lashes and inner eye corner.

What do you think about this palette, any purple lovers around who might be interested in new eyeshadows? Have a nice evening!
