Eyes: Sleek i-Divine, Enchanted Forest
Hey there, Internet!
Sleek is another cruelty free (some of their products are also Vegan), budget friendly but still good quality company located in the UK. This month I actually only wanted to buy a blush set (could not resist the name Pumpkin) but when I went to buy it Shades of Pink had the iDivine Palette ‘Enchanted Forest 098’ available for preorder.
Description by Sleek: Create stunning eye makeup with 12 shades of highly-pigmented and long-lasting, mineral based eyeshadow. Enchanted Forest contains mystical purples, dreamy greens and magical soft shimmers. Includes a matte dark colour, ideal for definition or perfecting a classic smokey effect. Suitable for all skin tones.
Upper Row: Glass Slipper, Beatrice, Perla, Fairy Godmother, Grand Duke, Drizella
Bottom Row: Pumpkin, Prince Charming, Happily Ever After, Anastasia, Daphne, Lady Temaine
As always comes in a black plastic case with mirror and sponge applicator included.
All of the colors contain 1.1g/0.03oz of product for 10,49€. Sleek eyeshadows usually do feel soft and are highly pigmented, long lasting on your skin. The enchanted woods palette is no exception, it includes some matte and some shimmery colors, and the color sheme is already quite autumn-like, dramatic dark colors as well as lighter, daytime ones. To me this palette was worth buying for Anastasia and Daphne alone already but I am sure all of them will be used in the future!
On a sidenote: Yes. I tanned. M’era Luna happened.
For my everyday eye-makeup I usually go with a simple black or grey shadow, some white for highlighting, add eyeliner and mascara and am done. After looking at the new palette for a while I decided to try how good Drizella (starting in the inner corner), Daphne and Lady Tremaine would work together. Quite like the different hints of color added to the grey-ish base colors. Put a bit of Glass Slipper and Fairy Godmother to the browbones and under eye and then added a bit of Beatrice between the lighter and darker parts.
Have you tried any Sleek products? Anything you could recommend? Have a nice evening!
